As of March 20, 2020, the State of Kansas and the State of Missouri are still requiring that individual income tax returns (1040s) and business tax returns with a filing due date of 4/15 be filed on or before April 15, 2020.

Therefore, you still need to have your tax returns prepared and ready to file on 4/15. If you choose, you may sit on the IRS 1040 and not file it or make your payment to the United States Treasury until July 15, 2020.
