Now that the last episode with [my legal matter] is over and things have settled down from the holidays I'd like to pause a moment to thank you for all you have done for me over the past year and a half.
You have proven yourself a kind and thoughtful man. I don't know that I can ever tell you effectively how much I appreciate all your efforts.
